If you’ve been on my list for a while, you may know that I self-published my first book on Amazon somewhere around August last year.
In case you didn’t know, now you do.
Looking back, the entire process was relatively easy and straightforward. Yet there definitely was some kind of learning curve to get through first. Especially when it came to getting the book and cover formatted correctly.
A lot of my time was spent researching recommended templates, watching tutorials, reading printing guidelines, and a bunch of other stuff.
Now, just today, I came across this service, which I wasn’t aware of when I launched my book last year, called Lulu. Full transparency: I’ve never used Lulu myself and so I have no idea how good, simple, and user-friendly their service actually is…
But I did a bit of snooping around on their website and so far it seems extremely promising—they’ve even got ready-made templates for you to use depending on your book size and format, and extensively detailed, well-written, and easy-to-follow guides explaining mostly everything about the printing process.
I’m fairly certain I’ll be at least checking them out more thoroughly for my next book.
That said, as you’ve probably noticed by now, this email is sponsored by the guys over at Lulu. So I highly encourage you to check them out yourself. Even if it’s only to go through their detailed guides and publish wherever you want.
That’s probably what I’ll do as well.
I’ll give to floor to the guys over at Lulu for now:
